Gützold
Gützold was a model train manufacturer from Zwickau, Germany, founded by Johannes Gützold. Originally starting a foundry in 1946, Gützold soon turned to producing model trains. The company has gone through multiple mergers and difficulties through the decades, and Gützold ultimately filed for insolvency in 2014. Nevertheless, parts of the company were taken over by fischer-modell in 2017 and the brand Gützold continues to live on, producing wonderful models in H0 and TT scales.
