Mehano

Mehano is a Slovenian toy company founded in 1952, originally under the name Mehanotehnika. It mostly produced metal and plastic products, and it wasn't until many years later that they started to manufacture some model trains. The trains proved to be popular and they quickly expanded their range with three different quality lines: Train Line entry-level models mostly aimed at children, Hobby Line, and their top-quality Prestige Line with DCC and sound models. Due to financial difficulties, Mehano had to file for bankruptcy in 2008, but the brand was relaunched in 2010 and still produces some train models.
