Additional information

On the occasion of the Olympics in Berlin a number of German State Railroad Company locomotives were decorated with the Olympic rings on both sides of their tenders. The "Beautiful Lady of Württemberg" no. 18 137, formerly C 2041 of the Royal Württemberg State Railroad (K.W.St.E.) was one of them. The prototype of this locomotive was built by the Esslingen Machine Company in 1921 and was one of a total of 14 locomotives of this design of which there is unfortunately not one unit preserved today.

Former German State Railroad Company (DRG) class 18.1. With built-in DELTA module. High reduction bevel gear drive, will not lock up. High-efficiency Faulhaber motor. 3 axles powered through drive rods. 2 traction tires. Electronic reverse unit. Close coupling between locomotive and tender. Length over buffers 25.1 cm (9-7/8").

One-time series only in 1996.
